Clear labeling is an important tool for consumer education on the content of their purchases. As public demand for socially responsible and ecological credibility grows, communicating those aspects of a product is a must.
These days consumers come across hundreds of certifications that give them all types of information, from factory work conditions to animal welfare. Labels also express whether a product is organic, fair trade, forest-friendly and whether it is recyclable or made from recycled material. The list goes on.
