Arbor Day Foundation Annual Report 2017

Planting trees is core to the Arbor Day Foundation mission. It’s what we’ve always done. We plant them with great purpose — because the beneficiaries of those trees and forests are people. Founded in 1972, the centennial of the first Arbor Day observance in the 19th century, the Foundation has grown to become the largest nonprofit membership organization dedicated to planting trees, with over one million members, supporters, and valued partners.

The impact we make on our world is accomplished through our conservation and education programs. Learn more about our programs and efforts and how we’re making the planet cleaner and greener.
