Belvidere Assembly Plant Gives “Seed Money” to Local Conservation Area
About 84 miles west of Chicago is the Kinnikinnick Creek Conservation Area, 429 acres of pure nature available for area residents and visitors to enjoy. Managed by the Boone County (Illinois) Conservation District (BCCD), this lush recreational area is located in the same county as the FCA US Belvidere Assembly Plant.

FCA US Toledo Machining Plant to Build Key Component for First Plug-in Hybrid Jeep®
FCA US announced today that it has awarded the production of the Power Electronics module for the Jeep® Wrangler PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) to its Toledo Machining Plant, positioning the 54-year-old Ohio facility to play a key role in helping the Company meet future regulatory requirements.

2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Named Northwest Green Vehicle of the Year
The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid took home two titles from the Northwest Automotive Press Association’s (NWAPA) 2018 Drive Revolution green vehicle competition, including the Northwest Green Vehicle of the Year, and for the second year in a row, the Northwest Family-sized Plug-in Hybrid of the Year.

FCA US Facilities in Ohio and Michigan Reach Silver Status in World Class Manufacturing
Two FCA US facilities have joined the ranks of silver designated plants in the Company’s World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodology. Toledo (Ohio) Machining and Sterling Stamping (Sterling Heights, Michigan) were recognized for their efforts in expanding the implementation of WCM principles, becoming the eighth and ninth plants, respectively, to reach this milestone.

FCA US Mopar Parts Distribution Center Honored With Prestigious LEED Gold Environmental Award
The FCA US LLC Mopar Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Romulus, Michigan, has been honored with the prestigious Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold award for achieving excellence in green building standards. Administered by the United States Green Building Council, the PDC is the fourth FCA US facility to receive the elite designation.

FCA Windsor Assembly Plant Receives Energy Conservation Leadership Award
FCA’s Windsor Assembly Plant (WAP) has won a Canadian Industry Partnership for Energy Conservation (CIPEC) Leadership Award. The recognition comes for key Process and Technology Improvements from a plant initiative that resulted in an approximate 30 per cent annual energy savings of existing chilled water system and reduced Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions equivalent to almost 21 homes’ energy use per annum.

FCA US LLC Expands Partnership With Waymo
FCA US LLC and Waymo today announced they will expand their partnership with an agreement to add up to 62,000 Chrysler Pacifica Hybridminivans to Waymo’s self-driving fleet. This venture builds upon a previous commitment, announced in January, to deliver thousands of vehicles to Waymo’s driverless transportation service. Vehicle delivery is expected to begin in late 2018.
