Expedition Granted

Move over, Indiana Jones. There's a new day in exploration.

Expedition Granted is National Geographic’s nationwide search to find the next generation of explorers and to grant one person’s dream expedition for $50,000. The program is looking to redefine what exploration means in the 21st Century and show that anyone who is pushing boundaries and forging new pathscan be an explorer.  Exploration isn’t just for mountain climbers and photographers anymore.  The new explorers are musicians and makers, techies and tinkerers, the curious and the courageous.
