HanesBrands: People

Caring for people is in our roots. It’s who we are today and who we’ve been from the beginning.

We started small. Really small. Just a single hosiery mill in North Carolina, but we had big ambitions. Now, more than a century later, we’re global across more than 40 countries with 63,000 employees, designing, making and marketing our clothes. But we still stand for what has always been important to us. People.

Not just the people we serve, but the people we are. Every member of our employee community is supported, encouraged and empowered. From providing safe, rewarding jobs with competitive wages and benefits to valuing and celebrating our diversity – it’s all about being the kind of company where people genuinely come first.

And being ethical really matters to us. So, we set high standards both for us and the people we work with. Through large-scale community support programs, we’re able to give back to the communities behind our business. And we’re setting the goal of measurably improving the lives of at least ten million people by 2030. It’s a tall order, but we’re going to do it.
