Leading A Conscious Culture

By leading a conscious culture, we intentionally create an environment where employees can thrive. Where we pay attention to those around us; listen to, learn from, and empathize with each other; and harness our individual strengths to make great things happen.

Technology + Giving Back: When Worlds Collide
After working in technology for 15 years, I had what many may call a mid-life crisis. Although, not in the traditional sense of the word. Rather, I started to question my purpose and the direction of my life – and began to wonder if I should...

Reflections on Cisco Leader Day 2019
I recently had a great experience attending Cisco’s third annual Leader Day which happened to fall on a pretty historic day for us — the day Cisco was named the #1 World’s Best Workplace by Great Places to Work. We took a moment to celebrate this exciting recognition, but then dove in to the full day’s session.

Multiply It: Fostering Diversity & Inclusion
Last month, the Business Roundtable modernized its principles on the role of a corporation. How Cisco’s Cafes and Employee Resource Organizations Celebrate Diversity
When it comes to embracing diversity, Cisco is in a class by itself. We not only have a diverse workforce – we continuously honor it. Through our Employee Resource Organizations (ERO) we support our employees as they establish deeper connections with one another while celebrating their cultures. These celebrations are also great opportunities to invite others to join in on the festivities and learn more about one another.

Cisco | What's on Your Desk: TacOps Edition
My name is Dustin Li, and I am one of the operations coordinators for Cisco Tactical Operations (TacOps). My job is a catch-all that includes everything from handling logistics for deployments and making sure equipment is ready to deploy, all the way to advancing our thought leadership efforts by giving talks at conferences and managing our remote sensing strategy. TacOps is a part of Cisco’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts. After a disaster strikes, we set up emergency communications.

The Forum of Young Global Leaders (YGLs) aims to do just that. Social Impact & Volunteering

Between Starving Children and Thriving Children, There’s Rajeev.
Rajeev has been involved in volunteering for more than 30 years, founding two nonprofit organizations — his first one when he was only 16 years old — that help relieve hunger for children in slums and people living on the streets in India. When historic floods ravaged his native Kerala last year, he rescued stranded victims, then organized hundreds of people to provide relief. Rajeev is a shining example of someone who truly knows what it means to Be the Bridge. We asked him about his time at Cisco and what volunteering means to him.
