State Policy

It is imperative that states maintain and expand policies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting clean energy solutions. Strong clean energy policies help drive economic growth by attracting business and investments, especially as more companies work to achieve their own clean energy goals.

Ceres works with investors from Ceres Investor Network and companies from Ceres BICEP Network to advocate for laws and regulations that promote the uptake and acceleration of clean energy policy — such as policies that lift barriers for corporate renewable energy purchases, carbon pricing, renewable portfolio standards, energy efficiency standards and incentives for electric vehicles and infrastructure.
