A Commitment to Veterans
Over the next five years, one million servicemen and women will be leaving the military and returning to civilian life. In support of those veterans, CVS Caremark has joined the national Joining Forces initiative, a White House program aimed at hiring and training veterans and military spouses. As part of Joining Forces, CVS Caremark has committed to hiring veterans and military spouses for 25 percent of its new hires in logistics and distribution centers nationwide, which equates to about 1,000 jobs over the next four years. And that’s just one of the many ways that CVS Caremark is honoring our nation’s veterans. In the video above, David L. Casey, CVS Caremark’s Chief Diversity Officer, explains how the company is working to support military members and their families.
