Employee Awareness Leads to More Secure Information

Lockheed Martin’s 2015 Sustainability Report details how we manage and achieve progress in Information Security. Our objective is to minimize the probability and impact of undesirable events associated with security incidents in our operations and for our customers’ missions. Securing operations and infrastructure for ourselves, our customers and our supply chain also strengthens the stability and resilience of our hyper-connected society.

For example, we implement an annual awareness campaign to increase our employees’ ability to protect sensitive information. At Lockheed Martin, employees have reduced risky email behavior by 57%, making them less vulnerable when targeted by a common form of cyber attack.
