In Europe, Markets Follow the Green

With all the turmoil in the financial markets  recently, it’s not easy to focus on a long term issue like climate change. But there is a connection that might surprise you. Across the pond, we are seeing some things that tie the two together. German utilities RWE AG and EON SE that deliver energy the old fashioned way are among the worst market performers. At the same time, Danish turbine maker Vestas Wind Systems A/S is close to the top. That certainly seems to say something about the shape of things to come.
