Finally, A Place To Call Home

Samantha had been in foster care for eight years and during that time was separated from her brother. It was a traumatic experience made worse when a pre-adoptive home broke down, but little did Samantha know there was a ray of sunshine around the corner. After speaking with her Wendy's Wonderful Kids recruiter, Samantha revealed that she really liked her best friend's family and that she had grown close with them. It took some time and a structured plan, but Samantha was adopted by her best friend's family and now her best friend is her sister. At the adoption finalization she told her WWK recruiter, "I am happy to be with my own family."
