Helping Veterans Rebuild Their Lives, One Home at a Time

Lockheed Martin demonstrated its ongoing mission to serve our nation’s military veterans and their families by donating $97,000 last month to Homes for Our Troops, a nonprofit organization that builds specially adapted custom homes for severely injured post-9/11 veterans. Over the past six years, Lockheed Martin has committed more than $400,000 to the charitable organization.

“It is an honor to support Homes for Our Troops, an organization that provides life-changing support services for veterans and their families,” said Valerie Baldwin, vice president of Congressional Affairs, Army and Special Operations Forces Programs at Lockheed Martin and a member of the Homes for Our Troops board. “Donations like this highlight Lockheed Martin’s continued mission to support our active-duty and veteran service members and their families.”

Baldwin presented the donation to leaders from Homes for our Troops at the Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting & Exposition (AUSA) in Washington, D.C. in October.
