Lockheed Martin Receives Silver Class Distinction in 2016 RobecoSAM Corporate Sustainability Yearbook

Lockheed Martin was recognized as the top U.S. aerospace and defense leader for economic, environmental and social sustainability in the latest RobecoSAM Corporate Sustainability Yearbook, presented on Jan. 22 at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

“We’re proud to be honored as a global leader in sustainability as we continue to develop innovative products and processes in a way that protects the environment, strengthens communities and propels responsible growth,” Ethics and Sustainability Vice President Leo Mackay said.

This is the second consecutive year Lockheed Martin has been listed in the RobecoSAM Corporate Sustainability Yearbook which assesses sustainable practices for more than 2,000 of the world’s largest companies across 59 industries and 42 countries. The Corporation received Silver Class distinction in the 2016 yearbook, rising from Bronze Class in 2015.
