Owens Corning Delivers Stellar All-Around Performance on Sustainability

Recently, UN Global Compact Executive Director Georg Kell said that companies around the world have been awakening to their role in society over the past 15 years, but the world needs to move much further, much faster. Sustainable business practices must evolve rapidly, he said, and it is time to accelerate and scale up. 

In sync with this global vision to move faster on the path of sustainability, Owens Corning has been making rapid strides in various spheres and making a substantive impact. The company has now announced strong progress in reducing its environmental footprint and expanding its positive handprint by introducing innovative solutions to the challenges of climate change, energy consumption and infrastructure development.
