PYXERA Global to speak at Ethical Corporation’s Responsible Extractives Summit this Thursday

Washington, DC, April 28, 2015 /3BL Media/ - Harry Pastuszek, VP of Enterprise and Community Development, PYXERA Global, will speak at Ethical Corporation’s 2015 Responsible Extractive Summit on the panel talk, “Build a responsible supply-chain to guard against supplier-related risk and improve local development.” The session, which takes place at the Houston Summit on Thursday, will address how extractives companies can work with local suppliers to promote social performance before risks emerge and maximize the benefits of using local suppliers through capacity building.

“The summit aims to help companies minimize risk and inclusively maximize opportunity by integrating social responsibility directly into operations,” wrote Laura Asiala, VP of Public Affairs at PYXERA Global, recently in Ethical Corporation Convenes Extractives Industry to Integrate Social Responsibility into Operations.  “The summit will bring together more than 120 senior leaders from these industries to discuss issues and share best practices.”

Additionally, Harry Pastuszek and Laura Asiala will facilitate the roundtable discussion Beyond the Hype: Practitioner’s Perspective, with Kyle Peterson, Managing Director, FSG, and the Shared Value Initiative. The interactive roundtable will address the challenges and success in implementation of local content development through a practical, open, and honest discussion.
