SHINE Summit at Harvard to Highlight Corporate Sustainability Ideas

A growing number of business organizations are implementing solutions to reduce their environmental footprint and curb lapses in social responsibility. The Sustainability and Health Initiative for NetPositive Enterprise (SHINE) has introduced a new unit of measurement called the Handprint. SHINE compares a company’s handprint to its footprint, and when the handprint becomes greater than the footprint, the company becomes a NetPositive Enterprise.
On June 4 and 5, SHINE Summit at Harvard University will bring together companies and academia to influence sustainability ideas in novel ways. Corporate leaders will share their challenge and success stories about impact and innovation for well-being, health and sustainability. Business and academia as a community will discuss ideas that improve net-positive impact and forge new pathways for innovation, profitability and sustainable development.
