Students at St. Michael Special School to Perform Special Assembly Program
(3BL Media) April 25, 2012 - Zurich executives will show the company’s continued support of the St. Michael Special School during a special visit on Thursday, April 26, 2012. Since 2005, Zurich and the Zurich Classic have provided support to the school. The school used the funds to build a 10,400 square-foot vocational complex, named for Zurich that houses a Life Skills lab for crafts, woodworking, sewing, home economics, computer and academic classrooms geared for its 16-21-year-old students. The school helps developmentally disabled children participate in a regular classroom environment.
During the media event, the students at St. Michael Special School will perform a lively assembly program to give thanks to Zurich and the Zurich Classic for all their support throughout the years. This year, Zurich celebrates 100 years of insuring America and is excited to celebrate this milestone in Zurich’s history with the students at St. Michael Special School.
