TWC's Diamond Sponsorship of NCLR Proves to be a Gem
Diversity and inclusion flourishes under Time Warner Cable's sponsorship of the National Council of La Raza Conference
Kansas City played host this past July to the 2015 National Council of La Raza Conference and TWC was right there in the thick of things. Time Warner Cable was a proud Diamond Sponsor of the event, which celebrated four days of Hispanic and Latino culture and activism.
NCLR is the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy agency in the United States; working to improve opportunities for Hispanic and Latino Americans.
Our sponsorship included financial support, producing and airing NCLR public service announcements and providing attendees with free access to our TWC WiFi network throughout Kansas City during the conference. Time Warner Cable also sponsored a luncheon at this year's event, which featured U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Penny Pritzker as the keynote speaker.
In the end, TWC's Diamond Sponsorship turned out to be a polished gem for the company by advancing our efforts for greater diversity and inclusion, both within Time Warner Cable and the communities we serve.
