LAS VEGAS, July 3, 2014 /3BL Media/ – United Way of Southern Nevada eagerly welcomes 37 new campaign partners to the United Way family. These organizations join the ranks of over 360 active workplace campaign partners, many of whom have been part of the United Way family since its founding in 1957.
These partners rely on United Way to help administer their philanthropic and corporate social responsibility goals and through their workplace campaigns give time, energy, passion and dollars to help bolster and improve our southern Nevada community. Companies NV Energy, Wells Fargo, Boyd Gaming, Caesars Entertainment, Enterprise Holdings, Cox Communications, Nat’l Security Technologies LLC, United Parcel Services, Citibank, Clark County School District, Diamond Resorts, UnitedHealth Group, KLAS TV-8 News Now, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, MGM Resorts International, U.S. Bank and Bank of America represent a sampling of the loyal and notable communitywide campaigns run through United Way.

In its first year, Wynn Las Vegas was awarded the first-ever “Beacon Award,” recognizing the company and its employees for having the most successful inaugural campaign in the history of the United Way of Southern Nevada. More than 47 percent of Wynn Las Vegas' passionate and charitable employee base opted in to support United Way and its efforts either through a one-time donation or ongoing annual support.
“We hear time and time again that workplaces, while they are optimistic of the future, are dedicated to ROI for their employees. They want their employees’ donations to make impact in our community, today. With our Forbes Ranking and the recent report from the Lincy Institute, we are providing that confidence that the dollars invested are going far, and are being stretched to meet the needs of an ever changing community. We are deeply proud of the confidence our partners like Wynn Las Vegas have in us as an exceptional fiscal steward, and we will continue to push forward in making lasting, community impact,” Cass Palmer, CEO and President.
