UnitedHealthcare Supports Indo Jax Surf Charities to Enhance Wellness of Children with Autism, Wounded Warriors and Families of Military Veterans
October 3, 2014 /3BL Media/ - UnitedHealthcare will celebrate its support of Indo Jax Surf Charities’ surf camps with a day of surf instruction and fun-filled beach activities. UnitedHealthcare’s funding will enable Indo Jax to expand its surfing programs to enhance the wellness of children with autism, Wounded Warriors and families of military veterans.
This project is part of UnitedHealthcare’s “Do Good. Live Well.” employee-volunteer initiative, whose mission is to inspire service and encourage volunteerism. UnitedHealthcare’s support of Indo Jax Surf Charities was made possible through CBS EcoMedia’s WellnessAd program.
UnitedHealthcare’s support will fund much-needed camp materials and supplies, including tandem surf boards, T-shirts, sunblock and hats. UnitedHealthcare’s support will also fund Wounded Warrior and autism surf camps for two years. An estimated 80 families will benefit from UnitedHealthcare’s support.
