Vigilant Global donated some much needed new books to four Montreal-area public schools this week through the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation and their ‘Adopt-A-School’ program. The schools will all receive the books for their library with the goal of replace aging and outdated books, many of which the students’ parents used when they were students at that same school.

Vigilant adopted four schools: Edinburgh School, Cedarcrest, Willingdon Elementary, and Our Lady of Pompeii Elementary. Each school will receive approximately 40 books each on behalf of Vigilant Global.

Very often the school library is the only source of books for many grade-school aged children. As part of Vigilant’s community initiative goal to enhance youth education in the Montreal area, the company decided to adopt the schools because children develop their love of learning in grade-school. Their experiences here will often set the tone for the rest of their academic career.
