#MillionPossibilities

VSP Global’s mission is simple: to help people see. As the company has grown, VSP has developed new ways to deliver on that mission, with perhaps no greater example than our Eyes of Hope® charitable platform. Eyes of Hope initiatives increase access to eye care an eyewear in places where it’s needed most.

VSP is celebrating a milestone of helping one million people in need see by providing no-cost eye exams and glasses to the students of Monarch School in San Diego, all of whom are impacted by homelessness. The eye care clinic has been providing no-cost eye exams and glasses to Monarch School students, all of whom are impacted by homelessness, and their families twice a year since 2014.

#MillionPossibilities: Celebrating Helping One Million People See
More than two billion people worldwide, including many in the U.S., lack access to proper vision care due to income, distance or disaster.

VSP launched Sight for Students, our first Eyes of Hope program, in 1997 to ensure that all school-aged children had access to quality vision care. Today, Eyes of Hope has evolved and expanded to support communities around the globe through initiatives that bring access to eye care, education, and disaster relief to places where they’re needed most.

This year, we’re celebrating a big milestone: providing one million people in need with no-cost eye care through Eyes of Hope programs, including Sight for Students and VSP Mobile Eyes.
