Entergy Commemorates the 20th Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina Through Community Partnership and Service

On Aug. 29, 2025, New Orleans and the surrounding region marked the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, a storm that left much of the city of New Orleans underwater, displaced thousands of residents, and caused widespread destruction.

CSO Awards: Top Chief Sustainability Officers of USA and Canada Nominated
The names of the 20 nominated Chief Sustainability Officers of North America have been revealed today, together with the names of the Grand Jury that will select the three winners of the Futur/io CSO Awards North America. 

The winners will be announced during NY Climate Week.

The Miami HEAT, in partnership with the Micky & Madeleine Arison Family Foundation and Carnival Corporation & plc, has made a $1,000,000 donation to Direct Relief to assist with expected recovery efforts following Hurricane Melissa.
