Bloomberg Unveils New European Headquarters in the City of London

Bloomberg unveiled its new European headquarters today at an event hosted by its founder Michael R. Bloomberg in the company of Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London and the building’s architect Lord Foster, Founder and Executive Chairman, Foster + Partners. Located in the heart of the City of London, it is the first wholly owned and designed Bloomberg building in the world. Designed to facilitate collaboration and fuel innovation, it will bring Bloomberg’s 4,000 London-based employees under one roof for the first time.

Atlas Copco Wins Award for Peruvian Flood Rescue Efforts

Atlas Copco has been commended by the Peruvian Government for helping communities recover from the devastating floods caused by the ‘Fenómeno del Niño’ storm. The Ministry of Labour of Peru recognised Atlas Copco’s efforts in the northern city of Piura at an awards ceremony for companies that provided immediate assistance in the wake of the natural disaster. The award grants Atlas Copco the distinctive denomination of S.O.S Company in Peru.

Monsanto Makes the Adoption Experience Easier for Employees

Each year the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption ranks the nation’s Top 100 Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces. Throughout November, National Adoption Month, we are sharing the adoption stories from our top adoption-friendly partners. This year Monsanto was 71st on the list and shared one employee’s adoption journey. Anik is a scientist for Monsanto and told the Foundation that Monsanto’s benefits made the entire journey easier.

Throughout November, National Adoption Month, we are sharing the adoption stories from our top adoption-friendly partners. This year Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa ranked fifth in their industry. Heather Sas, a college employee says her family has adopted twice thanks to the benefits offered by the college. “Our family is grateful for the financial support Northwestern College provided during this adoption journey. What a blessing it is to have a workplace that acknowledges and celebrates the gift of adoption!”
