JetBlue has found a creative way to promote kindness amongst its customers. The airline is currently promoting its JetBlue for Good Month initiative by inviting customers to check in at pop-up kiosks as well as online. This way, compassionate - and lucky - participants can get a free volunteer trip with JetBlue.
As much as recent natural gas industry dynamics are influenced by price, the reality is that the global market always is truly driven by supply and demand. Our forestry team recently returned from the 2017 Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) General Assembly (GA), which took place this year from October 8-13 in Vancouver, Canada. It was an exciting gathering, attended by more than 700 FSC international members, including forestry companies, NGOs, a wide diversity of wood-based product manufacturers, and more. Moreover, it was the FSC’s first North American-held General Assembly since 1993, a treat for those of us headquartered on this side of the pond.
In conjunction with America Recycles Day on Nov. 15, AEG’s Rabobank Arena, Theater and Convention Center hosted the 5th annual celebration of Bakersfield Recycles Day on Nov. 4. Throughout the day, Bakersfield residents dropped off e-waste, household items, clothing and paper shredding for recycling in the South Arena Parking Lot.
