Republic Services announced today theaddition of 16 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) solid waste collection trucks to its fleet serving customers throughout the greater Portland area. The CNG trucks replace older diesel-powered trucks, and bring the total number of natural gas vehicles operated by Republic Services in Oregon to 35.
Republic Services announced today a new highly advanced, commercial sorting system at its Anaheim Recycling Center. The new system is capable of processing more than 1,000 tons of recyclable material per day, or 100-tons per hour, and is expected to double capacity in the marketplace.
