Bacardi and Mercy Corps Dive into Puerto Rico Clean Up Efforts

The two dive activities resulted in the collection of 500 pounds of trash, including anchors, fishing sinkers and hooks. Dive teams also removed fishing line that became tangled during the 2017 hurricane season. Not only is the line unsafe for tourists and locals looking for a refreshing swim, but also for hawksbill turtles which live in the area and are on the endangered species list.

PepsiCo Recycling today announced that, through the Recycle Rally – a free program designed to educate and instill recycling behaviors at K-12 schools across the United States – nearly 10 million pounds of waste material was diverted from landfills during the 2018-19 academic year. Since launching in 2010, Recycle Rally has facilitated collections of close to 500 million recyclable containers.

CLP Commits to Converting Car Fleet to Electric Vehicles

The CLP Group has committed to transitioning its fleet of more than 1,000 cars to electric vehicles (EVs) by 2030 and encouraging more employees to switch to EVs, as the Group has become the first Hong Kong company to join the global EV100 initiative run by the international non-profit organisation The Climate Group. White Oak is actually removing 3.5 kilograms of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere for every kilogram of beef it produces, according to a life-cycle analysis by Quantis commissioned by General Mills.
