Jonathan and Drew Scott are urging support of Habitat for Humanity’s response to Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma in a new public service announcement out today. Through the Habitat Hammers Back initiative, the global housing nonprofit is assisting families in Texas and has begun assessing damages in Florida and the Caribbean.

Through aligning efforts, the events raised nearly $1 million in support of research since 2014 including more than $200,000 this past weekend.

KeyBank Community Development Lending & Investment (CDLI) has provided a total of $13.7 million in financing to Swell LLC, for the construction of Turnagain Place in Anchorage, AK. The 29-unit apartment project will serve households earning 50% and 60% AMI, persons with disabilities and persons who have formerly experienced homelessness.

Wells Fargo Donates $1.1 Million for Hurricane Irma Relief

Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) announced today it is donating a total of $1.1 million to support Hurricane Irma relief efforts in Florida and the Caribbean. The company’s donation includes $500,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, $500,000 to local nonprofits focused on relief efforts in the immediate future, and $100,000 to International Medical Corps as that organization engages in relief efforts in the Caribbean.

AT&T Pledges an Additional $1.4 Million to Hurricane Relief With New Matching Donation

AT&T* is donating another $1.4 million to hurricane relief, which includes a $1 million matching donation to Team Rubicon, $150,000 to Telecoms Sans Frontieres, a group that is working to reestablish connectivity for emergency responders and communities in the Caribbean, and $250,000 to local charities in states impacted by Irma. We will work with state officials to direct the $250,000 donations where they can be most beneficial.

Merck Donates $1 Million to Hand in Hand Hurricane Relief Fund

Today, Merck announced a donation of $1 million to the Hand in Hand Hurricane Relief Fund to support Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief television fundraiser. The one-hour special will include a host of celebrities who are supporting Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma disaster relief. The special will air live on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. EST and re-air at 8 p.m. PST.
