Honda Kicks Off Week of Service in North America

From June 10-19, the Team Honda Week of Service will involve volunteer community activities by Honda associates, dealers and suppliers in 41 states, as well as Mexico and Canada.

Habitat for Humanity Detroit Partners with FCA US for House Build

Habitat for Humanity Detroit and FCA US LLC kicked off their 2016 collaborative build this morning in Lincoln Park. The early morning celebration began with a few brief remarks before FCA US employees raised the walls for a new home on Park Avenue. The home is the first of three new homes Habitat Detroit is building in Lincoln Park this year.

Aramark (NYSE: ARMK), and 71 of its higher education partners recycled more than 15.2 million pounds of waste in the 2016 RecycleMania competition, an annual competition for college and university recycling programs, aimed at promoting waste reduction on campuses.

Keep America Beautiful Affiliate Builds Community Orchard at Jackson, Mississippi, Church

Keep Jackson Beautiful received 20 donated fruit trees from the Mississippi Urban Forest Council and the Mississippi Forestry Commission and used $3,500 grant from Entergy to build a community orchard at Rosemont M. B. Church in southwest Jackson. The orchard will be enlarged in the fall to include more of the five acres available at the church, thanks to an additional $5,000 Keep America Beautiful/UPS Community Tree Planting Grant.
