FCA US Shifts Gears, Rolls Out New Bikes for 350 Detroit Students

FCA US, a company better known for helping to put the Motor City on wheels, shifted gears and rolled out shiny, new bicycles and stacks of books for 350 students in Detroit who have demonstrated improvement in one or more of the ABC's (Attendance, Behavior and Course Performance) through Communities in Schools of Metropolitan Detroit (CIS), an an academic enrichment program which provides education and community resources to help students successfully learn, stay in school and continue on the path to graduation.

New STEM Girls’ Roadtrip Launched with AT&T and Roadtrip Nation at Clinton Global Initiative

Atlanta, Ga., June 13, 2016 – Since 2011, Roadtrip Nation, a career exploration organization known for its acclaimed PBS documentary series, has been working with the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) to propel opportunities and resources to help students with their educational goals. This year, launching at the 2016 CGI America conference, Roadtrip Nation is collaborating with AT&T to empower young girls interested in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields.

Building on the socially conscious themes of episodes like "Home Again," about gentrification in major cities, the team led projects to support the homeless community in Vancouver, which was standing in for Philadelphia in the episode. The production crew worked to integrate the homeless into the show, distributed food vouchers, and donated supplies to local shelters.
