Are Americans Financially Healthy?

PART OF WHAT MAKES THE U.S. FINANCIAL HEALTH PULSE ENDEAVOR SO ROBUST is that each report will examine four pillars of financial health: saving, spending, borrowing and planning. “It’s similar to evaluating physical health,” says Evelyn Stark, the assistant vice president of financial health for MetLife Foundation, founding sponsor of CFSI’s financial health work. “You can’t just look at a single factor like blood pressure or cholesterol. You need to look at a range of financial measures and say, ‘What do these tell us about the collective whole?’”

Earth Day 2019: Our Long Term Plan to Address Rising Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Two weeks ago, I joined the CEO of Walmart’s international business to discuss how PepsiCo can help them reach their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions goals under Project Gigaton. For our part, we are striving to reduce absolute GHG emissions across our value chain by 20% by 2030—avoiding roughly 35 million metric tons of GHG emissions overall. That’s the equivalent of more than 73 billion miles driven by the average car—or taking more than half the cars in PepsiCo’s home state of New York off the road for a year. This is a science-based target, and it represents PepsiCo’s contribution to meeting the initial goal of the 2016 Paris Agreement: limiting global warming to within two degrees Celsius of pre-industrial levels.

Israel is Keen to Tap Into the Momentum of Rising Global ESG Investment

The integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into investment processes and decision-making is on the rise globally. The responsible investing market is worth almost $23 trillion, representing around half of all assets managed in Europe and more than a third in the U.S, according to JPMorgan Chase. Nearly every market in the world has its eye on ESG-focused or socially responsible investment (SRI). Israel is no exception. The Israeli market, albeit small on an international scale, is intensely linked with global markets. Israel has earned a reputation for creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, attracting multinational companies.
