The program is designed to accelerate the skills of graduates to become high-performing technologists at Fidelity. As part of this program, graduates of LEAP who join the EI business unit become actively involved in Common Impact’s skills-based volunteer projects.

2016 Chemical Data Reporting: What You Need to Know

The Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976 (15 U.S.C. §2601 et seq.) authorizes the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to promulgate and enforce rules on chemical substances in commerce. Section 8 (a) of the law requires the EPA to collect basic exposure-related information on the types, quantities and uses of chemical substances produced domestically and imported into the United States.Called the Chemical Data Reporting Rule (CDR) [40 CFR Part 711], this information is collected every four years from manufacturers producing or importing more than 25,000 pounds of chemicals; however, a small number of chemicals subject to certain TSCA actions will have a reporting threshold of 2,500 pounds.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. today announced $4 million to expand young people’s access to economic opportunity in Detroit. Building on the firm’s $100 million commitment to Detroit’s economic recovery, this three-year grant is designed to increase dramatically the number of young people graduating from the city’s high schools with opportunities to secure well-paying, high-demand jobs. JPMorgan Chase joins the Skillman Foundation, the Ford Foundation and the Ford Motor Company Fund in this initiative to connect 10,000 Detroit high school students to career education and work experiences over the next three years.
