The Breast Form Fund Receives Local Attention to Raise Awareness and Funds for Breast Cancer Survivors
'Show us your Bra' goes national by Suzanne Wilson
The new "Show Us Your Bra!" calendar for 2011 is out - and like others in the past, it's a collection of bras as works of art that range from beautiful to inspiring to whimsical.
There's a photo of a bra made of buckskin in honor of a Native American "Spiritual Warrior." There's a bra fashioned from lovely white flowers. There's a bra made "For a Modest Mermaid (with help from her friends)" that depicts a round turtle next to a round fish, so that the two round forms resemble - well, you know. And there's "Picking Up the Pieces," a bra made from pieces of smashed china to symbolize the process of creating a new life after cancer.

The Breast Form Fund (BFF) was founded in 1994 to offer financial assistance to uninsured and under-insured women to purchase breast prostheses and post-mastectomy bras after breast cancer surgery. These products help women regain their sense of beauty and self-assurance after surgery and for years to come. The Breast Form Fund offers assistance to women of all ages and cultural backgrounds who live in Massachusetts.
