Booz Allen Named a Top 50 Employer for People With Disabilities by CAREERS & the disABLED Magazine
Booz Allen Hamilton is proud to again be listed among CAREERS & the disABLED’s Top 50 Employers, appearing in the #10 spot this year. To determine the list and rankings, CAREERS & the disABLED magazine surveyed its readers via mail and email, asking them to select the top companies in the country for which they would most prefer to work or believe provide a positive working environment for people with disabilities.

Booz Allen Named a “World’s Most Admired Company” for Seventh Consecutive Year
For the seventh year in a row, Booz Allen Hamilton has been included on Fortune magazine’s prestigious list of “The World’s Most Admired Companies.” With results determined by 3,900 executives, analysts, directors, and experts, the list is considered “the definitive report card on corporate reputations.”

Booz Allen Training Program, “Leadership in Focus: Be Inclusive” Receives Gold-Level Recognition from Chief Learning Officer Magazine
In September of 2016, Booz Allen launched the “Leadership in Focus” series to develop critical skills and behaviors for leaders at all levels of the firm. The first course in the series, “Be Inclusive,” trains leaders about the behaviors required to create an inclusive work environment. At the heart of this initiative are diversity pioneers like David Sylvester, director of learning and development at Booz Allen. Sylvester recently accepted the Gold-Level Learning in Practice Award by Chief Learning Officer (CLO) magazine on behalf of the firm in recognition of its employee development program.

Solving the world’s toughest problems requires grit and determination, sound education, and endless curiosity. To spark that curiosity and nurture kids’ innate passion to create, Booz Allen Hamilton has invited D.C.-area girls to its Innovation Center for an event featuring the launch of THE IMAGINE IT BOOK: Discover, Create, and Invent our Amazing Future! written by Ellen Sabin, published by Watering Can® Press, and underwritten by Booz Allen.

Booz Allen Hamilton Again Scores 100% on HRC’s Corporate Equality Index
For the eighth year in a row, Booz Allen Hamilton has scored 100 percent on the Corporate Equality Index—a national benchmarking survey on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality that is administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). As the country’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality, HRC’s 100 percent score is one of the leading measures of workplace equality in the U.S.

For the 19th consecutive year, Booz Allen Hamilton was named to Working Mother’s list of 100 Best Companies for its “strong leadership in creating progressive programs for its workforce in the areas of advancement of women, flexibility, childcare and paid parental leave.” The 100 Best Companies are featured in the October/November issue of Working Mother and on workingmother.com.
