Amgen Teach

Amgen Teach supports science teachers across Europe by providing training workshops and distance-learning events that supply educators with the skills and confidence to transform the science classroom experience for students. Science teachers in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Spain, and Turkey are supported with free training sessions that emphasize hands-on, inquiry-based experiential learning for their students. Meet Murielle Treil from France
With more than 20 years of practice, Murielle was already long experienced in inquiry-based teaching. However, she considered participating in the Amgen Teach trainings as an opportunity to further engage in inquiry-based activities for adults, to share views with researchers on the process of scientific research and to build inquiry-based pedagogical content together with other participants and trainers.

Meet Delia Borsum from Germany
Delia teaches eight-to-twelve year olds at the Hedwig-Bollhagen-Gymnasium Velten school in Kremmen, Germany. As well as biology and chemistry, she also is a physical education teacher and has 20 years' experience as an educator. Delia participated in Amgen Teach in 2015 and has taken full advantage of the training to help her apply inquiry-based practices in the classroom.
