Astros Star Carlos Correa Making Sure Houston’s Youth Gets a Good Night’s Sleep
Since calling Houston home, Carlos has been a rising star off the field as well. In July 2015, just over a month after being called up to the majors, Carlos supported the Houston Salvation Army’s efforts to help those in need. And, last season, Correa teamed up with the Houston Children’s Charity’s “A Better Night’s Sleep Program” to ensure one thing – children in the Houston area were getting a good night’s sleep.

Motivated by Tragedy, Tim Anderson of the White Sox Launches Charity to Guide Chicago’s Youth
Tim Anderson, the 17th overall pick in the 2013 draft, is already well on the way to establishing himself as one the top young shortstops in the Major Leagues. After batting .283 as a rookie in 2016, Anderson began 2017 as the White Sox’ everyday shortstop.

Yankees CC Sabathia Takes to the Lanes to "Pitch in for Kids"
On Monday, June 5, Sabathia and the PitCCh In Foundation continued a tradition with the annual All Stars of New York Bowling Tournament in New York City. Joined by numerous Yankee teammates, friends from the Boston Red Sox, who were in town playing the Yankees, as well as former Red Sox slugger David Ortiz, Sabathia hosted a night of bowling to raise money for the foundation to assist inner city youth.

Awaiting the third of three surgeries related to his ulcerative colitis, Texas Rangers pitcher Jake Diekman will be unable to contribute in the Rangers’ bullpen until the second half of the season, but the hard-throwing left-hander is using his time on the disabled list to help support others who suffer from his condition.
