Since 1999, Subaru has partnered with LNT on the Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainer program, which consists of four groups of two educators who crisscross the country in Subaru vehicles teaching people to appreciate the outdoors responsibly. Working with everyone from the general public to nonprofit organizations to governmental agencies, the trainers educate via programs ranging from hour-long workshops to intensive two-day field courses.
This morning, Kickstarter unveiled new features that will help creators evaluate and reduce the environmental impact of their products at the earliest stages. Kickstarter teamed up with EDF Climate Corps to develop an information hub called the Kickstarter Environmental information hub, as well as a space where project creators are asked to publicly commit to environmental practices.
It’s the season of gratitude, and once again, the National Park Foundation is thankful for support from Subaru for national parks through its annual Subaru Share the Love Event kicking off today through January 2. Now in its 11th year, the event has raised over $7 million for national parks, with 2017 proceeds enabling the National Park Foundation to contribute nearly $2 million to national park waste reduction and public awareness efforts.

Today in celebration of #GivingTuesday and JetBlue’s commitment to volunteerism and community service, the airline flew a plane full of do-gooders to “Destination Good,” the Dominican Republic. Winners of JetBlue’s #CheckInForGood contest were so committed to good, they agreed to join JetBlue on a volunteer trip during JetBlue For Good Month without knowing the destination. Volunteers arrived at New York’s JFK International Airport and were surprised with the reveal of the location just moments before boarding JetBlue’s newest special livery – JetBlue For Good.
