Recently an article was posted on LinkedIn with a title that read, “Coffee cup ban: Boston Tea Party’s sales fall by £250k”. The comment attached to the post was this:
“You can put all the bans in the world, but at the end of the day if consumer habits don’t change there won’t be a difference.”
Upon reflection, I have a couple of problems with both the article and how it was framed.

We frequently hear this kind of discussion in the phone calls we have with corporate managers, especially those at companies where management is now considering what to do or perhaps just starting out on their sustainability journey.

Hannah is one of 30 high school seniors selected from among 722 applicants to be awarded an Edison Scholars scholarship this year. To qualify, the recipients must live in SCE’s service area, have at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA, show financial need and plan to pursue studies in the fields of science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) at a four-year accredited college or university.
