AEG Partners With Nautica Malibu Triathlon to Raise More Than $24,000 for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
AEG, the leading sports and live entertainment company in the world, partnered with Nautica Malibu Triathlon for the second consecutive year to raise more than $24,000 for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in conjunction with the 31st annual Nautica Malibu Triathlon presented by Equinox at Zuma Beach in Malibu, Calif. on Sunday, Sept. 17.

LA Galaxy Foundation Teams Up with Playworks to Support Healthy Play in Southern California
AEG’s LA Galaxy Foundation has formed a new partnership with Playworks to support programming in Southern California schools during the 2017-18 school year. As part of the partnership, the LA Galaxy will donate adidas LA Galaxy jerseys to youth in the Playworks soccer program. Playworks, a nonprofit promoting the power of play for children before, during and after school, serves more than 40,000 children in 64 schools across Southern California.

LA Kings Host Annual Beach Cities 5K/10K Fundraiser
AEG’s LA Kings and Kings Care Foundation partnered with Hydrocephalus Association (HA) for the 4th year to host joint 5K/10K races and a fundraising walk on Saturday, Sept. 9. Through aligning efforts, the events raised nearly $1 million in support of research since 2014 including more than $200,000 this past weekend.

AEG Extends 11-Year Partnership with Read to a Child to Increase Literacy in Los Angeles
AEG, the world’s leading sports and entertainment company, is continuing its 11-year partnership with Read to a Child, a national nonprofit literacy and mentoring organization, as a Corporate Reading Partner to increase literacy in Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD).

Each week throughout the school year, AEG employees volunteer to meet with a student at Tenth Street Elementary in Pico-Union and read aloud to them as part of Read to a Child’s Lunchtime Reading Program.

LA Galaxy Visit Patients at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
As part of their longstanding relationship with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), AEG’s LA Galaxy players spent last Tuesday with patients at CHLA. Galaxy players and mascot Cozmo, visited outpatients and their families in their rooms, the Family Resource Center and CHLA’s Sports Motion Lab.

AEG Partners with Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to Host Community Impact Day
In conjunction with AEG’s longstanding relationship with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and AEG’s core principles of public service, community outreach and volunteerism, more than 70 employees from AEG’s Los Angeles offices spent the day preparing food kits at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in Commerce, Calif. on Aug. 29.

LA Galaxy Foundation Celebrates Women’s Equality Day with SoulCycle Fundraiser to Benefit LA Galaxy Girls’ Academy
In celebration of Women’s Equality Day and the launch of AEG’s LA Galaxy Girls’ Academy, the LA Galaxy Foundation teamed up with LA Galaxy player Sebastian Lletget and international recording artist Becky G to host a SoulCycle Charity Ride on Aug. 25 in Manhattan Beach, Calif.

LA Galaxy Foundation Hosts Special Olympics Southern California Young Athletes Festival at StubHub Center
Earlier today, AEG’s LA Galaxy Foundation hosted the Special Olympics Southern California Young Athletes Festival for more than 100 athletes ages 5-8, with and without intellectual disabilities, at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. Throughout the morning LA Galaxy Unified players helped lead activities alongside LA Galaxy staff, in conjunction with the team’s LA Galaxy Foundation Fridays volunteer program.

LA Galaxy to Partner with Los Angeles Police Department to Host Youth Community Clinic at 109th Street Recreation Center
As part of AEG’s LA Galaxy Community Clinic Series, LA Galaxy coaches will provide free soccer lessons and lead local youth through soccer drills and scrimmages alongside Los Angeles Police Department Southeast division officers at the 109th Street Recreation Center on Saturday, Aug. 26. Youth to participate in the clinic have been invited by the LAPD Southeast division.

Los Angeles Kings Partner with City of Long Beach for Long Beach All-City Beach Day on August 11
Earlier today, AEG’s Los Angeles Kings, partnered with the City of Long Beach to host the Long Beach All-City Beach Day for more than 2,000 youth, ages 5-14, from 32 Long Beach Parks, Recreation & Marine Department Day Camp and Summer Fun Day sites.
