Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) presented Marty Sedler, Intel's Director of Global Utilities and Infrastructure, with the "Green Power Leader of the Year" Green Power Leadership Award yesterday honoring his over two decades of advocacy for renewable energy development and adoption. In his role at Intel, Sedler is responsible for energy supply and infrastructure for all company facilities, as well as Intel's purchasing, installation, and strategy in its global renewable energy policy.
Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) recognized four organizations and one individual today for their role in building and shaping the market for renewable energy over the past year. The award recipients were honored during the 2015 Green Power Leadership Awards ceremony held in conjunction with the Renewable Energy Markets 2015 conference taking place in Washington, D.C. from October 18–20th. The CRS Market Development Award category recognizes organizations and individual renewable energy leaders that have helped increase the demand for clean energy through their actions.

Human Resource Executive magazine recognized Marcia Avedon on its 2015 HR Honor Roll, an annual award that recognizes top HR professionals who have made a lasting impact on their organizations and in the HR discipline. She is one of two executives this year to be recognized in the large companies category (7,500 employees or more). Avedon is the senior vice president of human resources, communications and corporate affairs for Ingersoll Rand, a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable and efficient environments.
Costa Luminosa scored full marks (100) in a recent inspection conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the United States. The inspection was held on 14 October during the call at San Francisco, one of the 39 wonderful destinations included in the Around-the- World cruise of Costa Luminosa.
