If Farm-To-Table Eating Is Cool, What About Toilet-To-Tap Drinking?

Critics have derided the trend -- which comes as food sustainability, encapsulated in the farm-to-table philosophy, gains popularity -- as “toilet-to-tap” drinking. But a new survey released this week finds a surprising number of Californians are on board with the concept.

We are investing £9.6 million in Project Green Leap to reduce carbon emissions and water use at these three Horlicks factories. For example, we continue to increase the amount of waste biomass we buy to replace coal as a fuel in our boilers. We will be constructing a new 1MW combined heat and power plant at Rajahmundry that will also be fuelled with waste biomass.

GSK works with partners and humanitarian organisations to prepare for and respond to emergency situations. In some instances, we fast-track the development of life-saving vaccines, and in others, we contribute by donating cash, products and our employees’ time. We also invest in long-term rebuilding and reconstruction in the aftermath of a disaster.
