The United Nations Global Compact, United Nations Office for Partnerships (UNOP) and UN Women convened over 600 representatives from business, Government and civil society this week to discuss business action to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment.
Business leaders from more than 20 organizations will join a CEO Roundtable at the United Nations on 14 March to discuss strategies to advance gender equality in the face of backlash against global diversity and inclusion efforts.
The numbers are in: companies with more diversity at the board and executive level see significantly stronger financial performance, including higher return on equity, net income growth, and more.
